SCHOOLS
Wilderness Awakening offers schools Pre-K through Middle School the opportunity to incorporate nature connection into their curriculum through in-school or after-school programs, pedagogical consulting on a wide range of topics, as well as a variety of retreat programs for students and staff.
With Wilderness Awakening nature immersion, your students will experience a heightened self awareness, connection to our local habitats, empathy, wonder, stewardship, patience and ecological responsibility. We use mindful exercises tuning into our senses to allow for a newfound presence of oneself and our surroundings. Students walk away from our programs feeling restored, renewed, at peace and inspired. Our current offerings are long term programs or a series of visits with a class.

LONG TERM PROGRAMS
We see our programs best suited for reoccurring workshops year-round, monthly or seasonally- guiding groups in their local outdoor environments.
Programs can vary in length to meet your needs, from a three hour workshop to full day- or overnight camp-outs at our rural site of Samsara Ridge in St. Croix Falls.

CLASS VISITS
We are happy to drop in with a class to provide a one-of-a-kind field trip to a local woodland where students and staff can participate in guided mindfulness activities using our senses and connecting with the surrounding animal and plant kingdom through tracking, deep listening and play.
